Exterior characteristics
The body is harmonious, elongated in shape; the chest is deep and the bone system is very strong and muscular. The profile line of the head is straight. The ears are comparatively long and semi-floppy.

Рога Обикновено животните и от двата пола са рогати. Рогата на женските са саблевидно извити назад със слабо забележим преден ръб. При мъжките рогата са големи, завити в едри спирали назад и встрани
Космена покривка
Космната покривка е много дълга и обилна по цялото тяло. По челото имат характерен перчем, който при мъжките е силно развит и може да закрива цялото лице чак до носа. Брадата обхваща цялата шия. По крайниците окосмяването е обилно и почти закрива копитата.
