Planting distances depend on the variety-rootstock combinations and the soil type. The following distances are recommended:

• substrate М_д: 4.0 м between the lines and 1.5-2.0 м between the trees in a row;
• substrate М4.5 м between the lines and 2.0-3.0 м between the trees in a row;
• substrate ММ₁₀₆: 4.5-5.0 between the lines and 2.5-3.5 м between the trees in a row;
• seminal substrate: 7.0-8-0 м between the lines and 5.0-6.0 м between the trees in a row

Smaller distances are for weakly and moderately growing varieties, and larger ones for strongly growing varieties. For lighter soils, shorter distances are chosen, and for richer soils – the opposite.
